Marin Adult Day Program

Serving Adults with Disabilities, utilizing Behavioral Supports by accessing Recreation, Education and Employment Training in the Community

Overview

The Marin Adult Day Program operates mainly in Marin County and provides access to recreation, education, and employment training in the community to adults with developmental disabilities. Services include person centered supports to adults with disabilities through access to activities in the realms of recreation, education and employment training through skill acquisition and trained behavioral supports, including Individual Service Plans (ISPs) designed and overseen by Board Certified Behavioral Analysts and implemented by both Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT certification) as well as experienced Direct Support Professionals. This community program is designed to support adults with disabilities that have faced challenges in other programs and require a higher level of support for health and safety reasons. Our program design provides a ratio of 1 staff to every 2 participants.

Program Goals

“We feel well supported as parents and feel like the team at UCPNB is committed to partnering with us. We are thrilled to have been on the ground floor of the first Marin Adult Day Program and we’re excited to see it grow. ”
