Petaluma Recycling Center

Sustainability Starts at the Petaluma Recycling Center

Overview

The Petaluma Recycling Center (PRC) is owned and operated by United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay and serves as an employment and job-training site for adults with developmental disabilities enrolled in Supported Employment. PRC also serves as the primary recycling facility for Petaluma and South Sonoma County, and the final UCPNB destination for recyclable materials collected throughout the community.

The primary goal of the Petaluma Recycling Center is to foster a culture of environmental responsibility within the community. By providing a convenient and efficient facility for recycling, the center aims to divert significant amounts of waste from landfills, thus reducing the environmental impact of discarded materials. Additionally, the center strives to educate residents about the importance of recycling and sustainable practices, contributing to a greener, more eco-friendly Petaluma.
