One of our OADS Artists has her art currently displayed in the “Petaluma Arts Association Virtual Art in the Parks.” She is an accomplished artist who has won many awards in a number of art shows and events. Our “Open Studios” program allows 25 of our participants an opportunity to explore and produce art for show and for sale, under the guidance of two Art Instructors. You can view her art on the Petaluma Art Association website: HERE.

Cypress School Update
Cypress School has wrapped up its 2019-20 school year – and what a year it has been! I would like to thank all our staff, families, and school districts for their continued support and partnership. They will begin their Adapted Behavior Program Summer Session on Monday that will last for the next two weeks. Cypress School will have an all-staff training on Monday, August 17. They are sending out a new and improved distance learning program this week set to begin for their first day of school on August 18. Their next parent meeting is Monday, August 24 at 2:30 p.m.
Adult Day Program Update
Gone for Good, WineBev Services, and OADS continue to share staff members to complete onsite packaging, recycling, and sorting projects, as well as community-based contract work for local businesses and municipalities. It is important that we maintain our paid work opportunities for participants until they are able to return to work. Our direct service staff members contact participants daily, conduct online classes, and respond to individual participant needs as they arise. For the week of July 23 through July 29, we presented 82 online classes averaging 22 participants per class.
